Recovering Common Goods with Fr. Patrick Riordan
How can Catholic Social Teaching help build a common good based society? How do the principles of Catholic Social Teaching interact with the public sphere? And how can CST help individuals and communities to flourish?
Patrick Riordan, S.J., is a Senior Fellow in Political Philosophy and Catholic Social Thought at Campion Hall, Oxford University, winner of the Fondazione Centesimus Annus Pro Pontifice INTERNATIONAL “ECONOMY AND SOCIETY” AWARD, and the 2021 Book Prize for his 2017 work “Recovering Common Goods.” Father Riordan will be interviewed by Steven P. Millies, Ph.D., professor of public theology and director of the Bernardin Center at Catholic Theological Union.
