<\/span>Following the Supreme Court’s decision in Trump v. Barbara, CAPP-USA welcomes the Court’s recognition of the dignity and constitutional stakes at issue for children born in the United States.<\/p>\nYet Catholic Social Teaching calls us deeper than any single legal outcome.<\/p>\n
The Church’s concern for the migrant child rests not on a citizenship rule but on the inviolable dignity of every person, the good of the family, and the just legal order that lets genuine welcome endure.
